Are We a Republic of Freedom Fighters?

America Started as a Republic of Freedom Fighters.

The United States of America was founded as a republic of freedom fighters in more ways than one.

The freedom fighters fought both physically, and politically for the freedom of the colonies.

Before the American Revolutionary War, the people in the colonies fought openly to expose what was going on in the government.

They were exposing the inequality of the people on the British mainland and the people in the colonies.

The people were open about demanding that the British government protect the civil liberties of the people in the colonies, just as they did with the people in the British mainland.

The colonial citizens were being required to follow the laws set by the British government and were expected to pay the taxes required by the Monarchy, but they were not allowed any representation in the British parliament.

The colonies had been allowed to operate nearly independently, governing themselves for years, but after the French-Indian War, the British tightened their political hold on the colonial government.

The colonial citizens were openly outspoken as freedom fighters against the British government, which resulted in the American Revolutionary War and the political freedom fighters became physical freedom fighters.

Freedom

The United States of America was founded as a republic of freedom fighters.

The people fought for rights and civil liberties which were for the good for all citizens.

The founders of the country used foresight and designed the constitution of the United States to lay out the rights of the people and the powers and limits of the government.

The country was a republic of freedom fighters, and it may be time for the country to become just that again.

The government seems to have forgotten why they United States of America was founded.

The government has gone backwards in recent years, quickly taking away the rights and civil liberties of the people and operating against the constitution.

The government needs to be held accountable on all levels. They need to not be allowed to pass laws which are unconstitutional.

The government needs to use the system of checks and balances which was intended to not allow the misuse and over accumulation of power.

The people need to be protected from the actions of the government.

No Freedom

The rights of the people are being taken away quickly.

The government is giving itself more and more power and the branches of government are ignoring the system of checks and balances they are supposed to be following.

The people are being treated as though they are the terrorists the government supposedly is trying to protect the country from.

The government has not hesitated in recent years to take the rights away from people and to pass unconstitutional laws.

The government has given itself the right to conduct surveillance on people without the need for warrants, this was pushed for without even the knowledge of the president.

We need to be a republic of freedom fighters. The law enforcement agencies in our country have been allowed to arrest and detain individuals without evidence or a trial.

They have been working against the average citizen for years, and this needs to stop.
