Peer to Peer Networks Bypass Censorship of Government Manipulated News Organizations.

The internet and social networking sites created a place where uncensored information would be able to spread freely no matter what the content and how truthful the rhetoric about unbridled government actions.

At least that is what consumers thought. The government and private companies have weaseled their way into the internet system and are unashamedly censoring the information that is available.

Google has long been in the practice of censoring internet content that does not conform with their right wing, conservative beliefs.

By slowing down or blocking reputable sites whose only purpose is to spread the truth about world government and the oppression they are trying to propagate, censorship is in force.

YouTube has begun removing videos, stopping comments on the videos being allowed, and altering the hit counters, in turn taking some of the most popular videos out of rotation which are blatant censorship practices and people must bypass censorship.

What has the world come to when censorship is running so rampant in all cultures that systems need to be created just to share the news government agencies and private corporations do not want shared with the world?

Ross Anderson of Cambridge University feels that by the year 2010, the main way news will be received is through the peer-to-peer (P2P) networks that are now used for swapping music, much of which has been censored also.

With the use of the P2P networking systems, the government will not have the opportunity to censor the information that is being published, which means people can finally bypass censorship.

Individuals will have the ability to write, record, or video tape truthful news articles without the consent of the government and distribute them with anyone around the world without censorship.

This will be a way for the Alex Jones’ of the world to get the word out and the truth will finally be free without the stronghold of government agencies.

No longer will the governments of the world be able to hide behind the news syndications and news will finally be out of the hands of the right wing, Marxist government who will only allow the news they want to be released to make it into society.

Resourceful Blogging

China, a predominantly communist country, has one of the most censored governments in modern times and it is impossible to bypass censorship in China. The government bans all sites with western philosophy and information.

The Chinese government has instituted programs that scour the internet for phrases on bloggers pages and removes the sites when any form of the phrases are found. The bloggers are finding ways around this censorship to get their messages out.

By spelling lines and phrases backwards, the system is not recognizing the phrases as banned and allowing the blogging pages to stay up. This is just one of the ways the Chinese are getting information out.

Programs for a New Age

Programs are being developed to bring an end to government oppression and bypass censorship. Psyphon is one such program.

Through the use of secure servers with encryption software, users will be able to ping in and visit any government banned site.

How long before the United States Government is using the same software and we are borrowing secrets to have access to information in the United States?

Google has already released press releases stating they are working with the Chinese government to censor information. Are they doing the same here?
