Fight Forfeiture Laws is the Only Way We will Regain Our Civil Liberties

To not Fight Forfeiture Laws Means We Forfeit Our Freedom.

The average American knows about forfeiture laws, but they don’t really understand them enough to know that if we do not take action and fight forfeiture laws immediately, every civil liberty we’ve ever enjoyed will be lost forever.

Forfeiture law is much more complicated than people think, and in no circumstance are rights or sensitivities being given to the victims of forfeiture.

If you think that just because you don’t do drugs or know anyone that does, that you will escape the wrath of forfeiture laws, you are mistaken.

Your goods can be confiscated or forfeited if there is even suspicion of an offense, and the onus is on you to prove innocence.

Until you do prove innocence, you will be presumed guilty, and you will not get your goods back until you are proven innocent.

Even then, it is almost impossible to get anything back that has been seized in a forfeiture case.

You WILL be the victim, and nobody higher up will care at all about your losses incurred, which is why we need to fight forfeiture laws in America today.

Suspicion itself is enough to seize tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, property, or business.

Innocent Americans are losing everything, thanks to the claims of confidential ‘informants’ that are stating their neighbour is conducting illegal transactions on their location.

Pocket cash has been taken from Florida residents, cars have been taken from men suspected of soliciting prostitutes, and homes are being seized from the average middle class American if their teenager is suspected of selling marijuana.

Forfeiture not Just About Drugs

It’s not just about drugs, forfeiture hides under the umbrella of the War on Drugs, but can and will be applied to ANY suspicious activity.

And if losing assets isn’t bad enough, the fact remains that you simply won’t get it back.

The Pittsburgh Press reported that 80% of forfeiture victims were STILL fighting for their property or money years after their case had been “resolved” to a court’s satisfaction.

In these 80%, all of them were proven innocent at trial, and still did not get their goods back.

Fight Forfeiture Laws or Lose Your Rights Forever

In the due process of forfeiture, you not only forfeit your goods, but also your rights to innocence until proven otherwise, the right to a lawyer, the right to due process, and the right to trial even.

Yes, this is legal, because you only have these rights if you are being charged criminally, not civilly, which is the case in forfeiture law.

We need to fight forfeiture laws, because if we don’t, it will not be long before every right we have is fundamentally stripped from us.

We can not let the government continue to get away with the passing of legislation that exempts them from evil and from the violation of our Constitution.
