Is an Alternative Fuel Solution Available?

Finding an Alternative Fuel Solution to Your Dependence on Oil May Not be That Far Off. A Look at Cars – Hybrids, Natural Gas, and the Fuel Cell.

Finding an alternative fuel solution is an important step in reducing the stranglehold the international banking and industrial cabal has over us. Must we be addicted to oil?

True, the cabal will find a way to profit and dominate new sources of energy just like they dominate industry now.

However, being able to release yourself from being dependent on oil is a beginning step to realizing a better future.

For example, did you know that people who heat their homes with solar power are able to sell some of their excess energy back to the city?

They then get ‘credits’ to put toward their own energy use. Did you know that some people utilizing this method haven’t paid for their city energy usage for years?

With oil prices rising all the time, wouldn’t you love to be in that situation?

Sure, getting in on an alternative fuel solution will cost you a bit more upfront but can pay huge dividends down the road. Today, we’re just going to look at cars in detail.

There are new ways of fueling your car that will allow you to greatly reduce your dependence on oil or take you entirely off it.

Alternative Fuel Solution: The Hybrid

There are already quite a few hybrid options available to you. A hybrid combines a normal oil engine with an electric motor.

‘The Honda Insight, which was introduced in early 2000 in the United States, is designed to get the best possible mileage.

”The Insight is no longer part of Honda’s line, but it’s still a good example of how a hybrid car can work.

”Honda used every trick in the book to make the car as efficient as it can be. The Insight is a small, lightweight two-seater with a tiny, high-efficiency gas engine.

”The Insight has the best EPA mileage ratings of any hybrid car on the market.

”The Toyota Prius, which came out in Japan at the end of 1997, is designed to reduce emissions in urban areas.

”To accomplish this, Toyota has designed a parallel hybrid powertrain, called the Toyota Hybrid System (THS), that adds some of the benefits of a series hybrid.

”The Prius meets California’s super ultra low emissions vehicle (SULEV) standard.

”It is a four-door sedan that seats five, and the powertrain is capable of accelerating the vehicle to speeds up to 15 mph (24 kph) on electric power alone.

”This contributes to the better city mileage than highway mileage. The Prius was the 2004 North American Car of the Year.

”A gas-powered car has a fuel tank, which supplies gasoline to the engine. The engine then turns a transmission, which turns the wheels.

”An electric car, on the other hand, has a set of batteries that provides electricity to an electric motor. The motor turns a transmission, and the transmission turns the wheels.

”The key to a hybrid car is that the gasoline engine can be much smaller than the one in a conventional car and therefore more efficient.

”Most cars require a relatively big engine to produce enough power to accelerate the car quickly. In a small engine, however, the efficiency can be improved by using smaller, lighter parts, by reducing the number of cylinders and by operating the engine closer to its maximum load.”

Alternative Fuel Solution: Natural Gas

Here’s an excerpt from a Honda Civic GX Review – Natural Gas Vehicle.

“You don’t hear a lot of talk about NGVs (natural gas vehicles) in the alternative fuel world. They just go about their business in a quiet unassuming way, leaving precious little evidence behind that they’ve passed through.

“These cars are so clean, you literally can’t smell the exhaust–and quiet, you can barely hear them running. But the one statement that they make loud and clear is efficiency–both environmentally and economically.

“The GX definitely lives up to its reputation as a clean machine, but do your homework first–CNG filling stations are not on every corner, so keeping the car fueled takes a bit of pre-planning.

“At 113 horsepower and 109 ft-lbs of torque, it’s not a pocket-rocket, but it is spirited, fun, economical and just leaves a smile stuck right on your face.

“Priced at $24,590 the Civic GX qualifies for tax credits that bring the cost right back in line with the gasoline-powered EX.

“Natural gas is approximately thirty percent less expensive than gasoline when purchased at a refueling station, but can be as much as 50 percent cheaper than gasoline if you fuel up with Phill. the home refueling appliance.

“Mount it on a garage wall-inside or outside-and refuel overnight and forget about trips to the fueling station.

“Abundant and clean-burning, natural gas is a domestic fuel that cuts CO2 emissions by 25 percent along with slashing operating costs.”

Alternative Fuel Solution: The Fuel Cell

Honda now has a fuel cell car. Here’s an excerpt regarding their FCX Clarity.

“Fuel cells produce electricity that can be used as a clean alternativeto gasoline. The fuel cell stack in the FCX Clarity converts hydrogen(H2) and oxygen (O2) into electricity.

“FCX Clarity is powered by an electric motor. The car you drove to work today is probably powered by an engine.

“The bigdifference is that the motor in the FCX Clarity gets its energy from electricity, instead of from gasoline like mostcars today.

“So while the FCX Clarity has the power of an engine, it also offers the uniquely clean, quiet ride of a motor.

Since the first Honda fuel cell vehicle was unveiled in 1999, dramatic changes have taken place in rapid succession. The fuel cell stack in the 1999 vehicle was very large and bulky.

“By developing and working to perfect our own Honda Fuel Cell (FC) stacks, Honda has made them significantly smaller, lighter and more compact.

“As a result, the design of the vehicle itself has also gone from tall and boxy to sleek and elegant with a roomy and comfortable cabin.

Honda has brought the fuel cell vehicle from the lab to the fleet and finally to the public. The major barrier now is building up the hydrogen supply infrastructure.

“We have a strong interest in this area as well and we are hard at work perfecting a Home Energy Station that may supply power to the home as well as the family car.

“With these developments, Honda is paving the way for a clean and efficient hydrogen-based society of the future.”

As you can see finding an alternative fuel solution is becoming increasingly easier to find. Our dependence on oil may become a thing of the past. See our Debt to Success System review on more methods to free yourself from these oil tycoons and bankers..
