Why is Library Censorship Limiting our Knowledge?

Living in America is often seen to be a real privilege and we are often reminded of the liberties that we often take for granted. 

We are told lots of things which make us feel comfortable living in this fine country, however many of these are lies. 

If the founding fathers of America knew exactly what was going on then they wouldn’t be happy at all. 

We are always told that we have a freedom of speech, and because of a freedom of the press can find out everything that we want to know. 

Trouble is that this never happens, information is very important and this normally flows from the top to the bottom. 

Some people may learn about certain events first hand, however most people will find out about them from people that want to tell them. 

This automatically gives the elite the power to adjust and change what the general public knows about. 

This was even the case with libraries, although these were provided to help educated the population they were always deliberately censored. 

Knowledge is power and so the elite are very scared about arming their pawns with too much of it. 

The elite were very pleased when they were able to do this, and nothing seemed able to change it. 

Even the media is controlled by the elite, over the years mergers and takeovers have resulted in a much more concentrated media which in turn results in a lack of freedom in the press. 

The internet however is completely different, this is something that exists and is not owned by one person.

Our Protection

Books aren’t exactly the most dangerous things on the planet, however one of the most important reasons given for library censorship is to protect us. 

We are all adults and should be able to make up our own mind as to what is dangerous and what we can know about, however this isn’t allowed to happen thanks to library censorship.

Internet

Libraries have changed a lot over the years, they now not only have books but also have computers where you can use to search on the internet. 

Almost throughout history information has flowed from the elite to the normal people, this has made it possible for them to control anything that they want us to know. The internet has changed this however. 

The internet is very hard for anyone to manipulate, even the powerful elite. Although they have tried with library censorship regimes to restrict our access to the information it is impossible to do this properly. 

There are so many millions of websites on the internet that policing them all is no mean feat, nobody has the resources required and that’s why Internet 2 is being planned.

Internet 2 will see an end to the internet as we know it and it will be replaced with a censored version. 

Internet 2 will not work how the internet currently works, it will be subscribed to like satellite TV where you can purchase a number of different entertainment packs.

This will allow you access to a small limited number of websites. 

Many ISPs have confirmed that this is the way that things will be going, and it will eventually make sure that the elite are in control again. 

The date when the internet is said to die will be 2012, and after that date you wont even recognize the internet.
