The media as we know it has a purpose to educate the masses with useful information and also to entertain.

“God is in the TV”, meaning what we see is what we believe, and from what we hear or read from the media distributed to the masses we gather information and shape our feelings and opinion.

The consolidated media is in fact a monster of power, owned by certain corporations that hold all the major media outlets and have monopoly over them.The media is not free, it is enslaved.

Any information released to the masses is controlled. The control of information to the public is equal to the control of the public’s mind.

The consolidated media hides behind the regime that officially gave the freedom to the media but unofficially has the ownership and the control over it.

The viewer or a reader gets the feeling he or she is getting the facts and the truth about the major events around the globe or any other kind of useful information, but in fact all that the public is getting is what is appropriate for its control.

When the public watches the news it only gets what it’s served on the menu for that day. All the information given could be true or false.

“If I see it with my own eyes I would believe it” some would say, but how often in these times, when the whole system doesn’t allow us to be preoccupied with nothing else but our own problems, could we actually experience things empirically and see the events that occur with our own eyes.

How would an average American know what is going on in Iraq, Serbia, Korea or any other place on the planet he might even not know a thing about, if he isn’t there to see it? He would trust the media.
