What Does NSA Spy Program Reveal?

The NSA Spy Program Reveals That America is Becoming a Big Brother Surveillance State.

The domestic NSA spy program under the Bush administration came to light in 2005 and caused a wave of shock and concern to ripple through the American people.

How could our own government spy on us? How long had this surveillance been carried out?

Do we know all there is to know, or is there still an inordinate amount of undisclosed information yet to be discovered?

These are all questions that were raised after the big brother spy tactics of our government were made known.

Unfortunately, many of them remain unanswered as our government has continued to declare such information classified.

The National Security Agency (NSA) has a mandate to conduct secret foreign intelligence for the U.S government, or so we thought.

It actually seems as though domestic intelligence could have always been its primary concern and foreign intelligence was just the guise under which it operated; Bush must have been relieved to have the 9/11 attacks as a convenient scapegoat for spying on innocent Americans.

Fresh-faced Obama came with the promise of change, but new allegations of NSA spying have emerged since his inauguration.

The NSA is relentless in its domestic spying activities – why?

Try to evaluate how much your personal information is worth to you and perhaps you will start to realize just how much control can be exerted over a population through an agency such as the NSA.

Bush NSA Spy Program: An Indication of Worse Things to Come

Obama is subtly extending authoritarian Bush policies.

The Obama administration is set to destroy every last thread of the constitutional rights that we have left under the Fourth Amendment.

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (FISA) was already in violation of our Fourth Amendment absolute right to privacy when it was enacted, but it has been stretched to capacity in recent years by the NSA’s wiretapping, data mining, and warrantless searches, all in the name of national security.

Obama has now dismissed a lawsuit against the NSA for the warrantless wiretapping, Jewel vs. NSA, on the basis of state secrets and the case being a threat to national security.

The most atrocious argument Mande by the Obama administration is their claim that the U.S government is immune from being sued for violating federal privacy policy.

In other words, our government is a complete law unto itself.
