Will Judaism be the One World Religion?

Citizens Ask: Will Judaism Be the One World Religion?

The question of will Judaism be the one world religion is on many people’s minds.

However, many speculate that Catholicism may actually be at the forefront of establishing a one world religion.

There are literally thousands of religions, cults, denominations, etc. so one must wonder if a one world religion would even be possible where all men and women practice only one faith.

Some speculate that attempts at creating a one world religion has already been made by freemasonry, Baha’ism, the Unification Church and the Unitarian-Universalist Church, just to name a few.

The one thing all these religions and some others have in common as that they are all waiting for a Messiah to come and establish peace and love on earth with a one world religion.

This unity or cooperation of religions, where there is a supposed shared spirituality across the three Abrahamic faiths of Christianity, Islam and Judaism, is known as Ecumenism.

Most frequently, ecumenism refers to a cooperation among different religions of just one of these faiths.

The word comes from Greek oikoumene which means inhabited world.

It was historically used in reference to the Roman Empire but now it is used by and in reference to non faith specific activities by distinct denominations.

In particular, ecumenism refers to the idea of Christian unity, meaning that there literally should be a single Christian Church.

So Many Inconsistencies, so Little Time

Will judaism be the one world religion? Judaism is one of the oldest monotheistic religions in the world and was started over 3,500 years ago in the Middle East.

Jews believe that God appointed them to be the chosen people to set an example of holiness and ethical behavior to the world.

The Oldest Unified Deity

Some Jews believe that there is no doubt as to will Judaism be the one world religion.

Some might speculate that Judaism would be the most obvious choice as a one world religion because every society is ruled in some way by the 10 Commandments set forth by the Jews.

Many Jews even believe that their God is one better than the God worshiped by other religions because their God has never forsaken them and never would.

Somehow, he will deliver the world to them as a one world religion.

We Cannot Let It Happen

There are a small group of Christians who oppose not only the notion of will Judaism be the one world religion but ecumenism as a whole.

The monastic community of Mount Athos, possibly the most important authority on Orthodox spirituality, has expressed their concerns regarding ecumenism and the opposition of the Orthodox Church to participate.

This question on the minds of some but more importantly, ecumenism has been at the forefront of concern for most religions around the world, including some Jews.

While one religion runs in the face of ethnic diversity perhaps such a scenario could instill greater understanding in a world where religion has fueled many bloody conflicts oer time.
